A three-card intro that appears once on your first login. Grab botn’s big picture in under a minute.
The quick guide pops up automatically on your first login. You can reopen it anytime from the ‘Quick guide’ button at the top of the BOTN AI panel.
1. First, 8 words
No memorizing new terms on every screen. Learn these 8 and how they connect, and you’ll know what to tap anywhere in botn.
- Contact — calls, notes, quotes and email all gather in one card per person — the center of botn. → Contact card
- Tag — labels like ‘VIP’ or ‘Returning’ you stick on contacts — use them to pick who to message. → Tags
- Action — what to do for this contact today; finish it and it drops off the Today screen. → Actions
- Deal · Pipeline — an active sales deal — see its stages (consult→proposal→close) and amount on a board. → Pipeline
- Process — build the stages a deal moves through — turn your sales flow into a kanban board. → Processes
- Campaign — send one announcement to a group of contacts at once, and see who opened it. → Playbooks
- Sequence — message in steps until they reply — say 2, 5, 10 days after a quote; it stops when they answer. → Sequences
- Booking · Form — take consultations with a booking link, collect pre-questions with a form; a contact card is created automatically. → Bookings · Forms
2. Big picture — two loops
Every botn screen is, in the end, one of two flows.
Booking loop: Booking link → Pre-questions → Contact card → Consult notes → Follow-up → Close
↓
Campaign loop: Partial import → Tag & select → Send → Track replies → Consult·quote·close
- Booking link — just send one link — the customer picks a time and answers your pre-questions; a contact card is created the moment they come in.
- Auto SMS & email — they go out on schedule on their own. Send once = a campaign; keep sending in steps until they reply = a sequence.
Both loops gather in the contact card, and the to-dos they create surface on the Today screen. → Core concepts · Today
3. You don’t do it all alone — BOTN AI
On any screen, the sparkle button at the top-right summons BOTN AI. Tell it what you want — it groups contacts, writes copy, and points out what to do next. Say ‘group contacts I haven’t reached in 90+ days’ and it finds your dormant contacts, shows them as a list, and even drafts the message to send. → BOTN AI assistant
AI only goes as far as drafts and suggestions. Nothing sends until you check it and tap send.
