Lists

Static collections that hold contacts for a purpose. Gather once, then send the whole list to a campaign or sequence.

Lists vs. tags

A tag is a label you stick on a contact; a list is an explicit collection you put contacts into. Use tags for 'VIP' and a list for a specific roster like 'March seminar attendees'.

A list is a static collection that directly holds contacts. Once gathered, the same roster becomes your send audience without re-running searches or filters. A contact can belong to several lists at once, and adding the same contact again won't create a duplicate.

Create, edit, delete a list

  1. Press New list, set a name, optional description and color, then save.
  2. Tap a name in the list to open its detail and manage the contacts inside.
  3. Use Edit on a row to change name, description or color, and Delete to remove the list.

On desktop you can check several lists and delete them at once. The color is only a visual marker to tell lists apart in the list and detail views.

Deleting a list does not delete the contacts. They are only removed from the list — the contact records stay intact.

Filling a list

For Excel upload, download the template shown on screen, organize your rows, then upload — only xlsx and xls files are accepted. The member count grows by the number of people added.

Managing members

In the list detail you can filter members by name, email or company, and sort by name, email, company or most recently added. Tap a name in a row to jump straight to that contact's card.

Check contacts to select them, and the top toolbar switches to bulk actions. For the selected contacts you can send email, apply a contact process, enroll them into a sequence, or remove them from the list — all in one go.

Removing from a list only drops the membership, so the contact data is preserved. Contacts already in a sequence are skipped without duplicates when enrolled again.

Email this list

  1. Use Email this list at the top to email the whole list, or select members first and press Email to send only to those contacts.
  2. Choose a sender (a verified sending domain) and write the subject and body.
  3. Insert variables like name, company or email to fill them in automatically per contact.
  4. Send now, or schedule a date and time for automatic sending.

If you have no sending channel yet, verify a sending domain in settings first. For bulk sends and domain setup, see the email guide .

What it’s for

A finished list can be sent straight to an email campaign or sequence .

On the email campaign screen you can pick a specific list as the audience and send to everyone on it. Gather a roster once — seminar attendees, newsletter subscribers, respondents to a campaign — and reuse the same audience for repeated sends.

Practical tips

Marketing sends only go to contacts who’ve consented (privacy & consent). Even if someone’s on a list, their consent/opt-out status takes precedence.
