Connected accounts (Google)
Connect Google Contacts with a single Google sign-in to import contacts into botn. Gmail and Google Calendar integrations are coming soon, before our enterprise launch.

What connected accounts are
Connected accounts attach the Google Contacts you already use to botn, pulling scattered contacts into your customer cards and sales flow. The integration brings information in — it never sends anything to a customer before you review it. Gmail and Google Calendar integrations are coming soon, before our enterprise launch.
This screen is under More and connection setup and permission management are easier on a larger desktop screen.
Connect your Google account
- On the Contacts integration card, tap Connect with Google .
- You're taken to Google's secure consent screen. Review the requested permissions and approve.
- After approval you return to botn and the item flips to Connected, showing the connected Google account address on the card.
The connection token is stored encrypted and is refreshed automatically when it expires. The top of the screen summarizes how many items are connected and whether any need reconnecting.
What each one brings in
- Google Contacts — loads contact candidates and imports only the ones you check into Contacts — anyone already in botn is skipped automatically.
- Gmail · Google Calendar — organizing email history and reading calendar busy times are coming soon, before our enterprise launch.
Check what's connected
On a connected item, tap View data to instantly see a few of the contacts that were actually pulled in. It's a quick way to confirm the connection works.
Import only the Google contacts you want
- After connecting Contacts, tap Import Google contacts to open the candidate list.
- Check who you want. Use Select all or Clear to choose in bulk; people already in botn are greyed out and won't be re-imported.
- Tap the import button to create just the selected people as contacts. Duplicates or incomplete entries are skipped, and botn reports how many were imported and skipped.
Disconnect & reconnect
- Disconnect — Disconnecting clears the stored credentials and stops pulling new data. Records already created (imported contacts) stay in place.
- Reconnect — If a token expires or access is revoked, the item shows Needs reconnect. One tap takes you back through the consent screen to restore it.
What botn handles
Below the integration list, botn explains what it sees, what it doesn't do, and what you control. botn sees only the contacts you choose to import, and it pulls no new data after you disconnect.
Coming soon
Meeting apps (Zoom/Teams/Meet), team alerts (Slack/Teams) and external automation appear as Coming soon. They can't be connected yet; when available you'll connect them right from this same screen.
