botn is a mobile-first sales OS for people who sell from their contacts. It isn’t a heavy general-purpose CRM — it focuses on running one sales cycle, lightly and fast, in a single place.
The core flow boils down to two loops. Whatever screen you’re on, you’re really advancing one of these two.
- Booking loop — booking link → intake form → contact card → notes → next action → follow-up → close.
- Campaign loop — partial import → segment by tags → send → track replies → consult, book, quote, close.

Your first 5 steps
If you’re new, follow this order. Each step links to its own guide page.
- Install the app — Add it to your home screen without an app store — it launches fast like an installed app. → Install guide
- Set up your account — Fill in workspace info, and invite members if you work as a team. → Settings · Members
- Connect contacts — Sign in with Google to connect your Google Contacts — existing contacts gather into customer cards. → Connected accounts
- Import contacts — Bring existing customers in via card OCR or CSV. Don’t move everything — import only what you need. → Import
- Explore the core — Open the contact card, campaigns, bookings, and revenue once each. → Contact card · Campaigns · Bookings · Revenue

The Today screen — start your day here
The Today tab is the first screen you see. It summarizes today’s to-dos, overdue follow-ups, and total contacts, then lists the action to handle first as a card.
- Overdue actions surface first with an Overdue badge. Handle them before they cool off.
- When there’s nothing to do, you’ll see ‘Today is clear.’ That’s a good time to send a campaign and create new responses.
Two tools you’ll use everywhere
- Command palette — On desktop,
⌘K(orCtrl K) ) lets you search a contact or jump to any screen instantly. - BOTN AI — the button in the header opens the AI assistant panel anywhere. → BOTN AI assistant

Tips from the field
- Don’t move all your contacts at once — import only the people you’ll actually reach this quarter. Your screens stay light and Today stays clear.
- If you keep writing the same message, save it as a template. You can reuse it in campaigns and one-off sends alike. → Templates
- The help button in each screen’s header opens this guide’s page for that exact screen in a new tab. When stuck, tap it first.
The email sync integration that gathers mail history onto contact cards is coming soon, before our enterprise launch. For now, announcement and campaign mail is sent automatically by email.
